Ghani emphasis on achieving peace prospects during a meeting with the British Foreign Secretary

Mohammed Ashraf Ghani, President of Afghanistan, met with Jeremy Hunter, UK Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs and Commonwealth, before noon in London today. Mr. Ghani, in addition to providing information on the recent advances in Afghanistan, has also provided information on the country’s peace process and its achievements, the preparations for the presidential elections, regional and international developments, as well as British support for the Afghan Police Force and the Police Academy in Kabul.
This meeting was held in a time that President Ghani today meet with UK’s Secretary of State for International Development, Rory Stewart. In this meeting, both sides have discussed several issues including peace talks.
