Heavy casualties for the most dangerous Taliban militant unit in Maidan Wardak

The Afghan National Directorate of Security (NDS) has released a newsletter that has stated: Taliban have suffered heavy casualties as a result of the joint air and ground operations of the National Directorate of Security Forces and the National Army of Afghanistan, according to the newsletter Taliban Red Company unit has witnessed the most casualties in this operation. Reports also state that National Directorate of Security (NDS) and Afghan air force was able to kill, at least, 62 Red Army fighters and 11 others were wounded, among wounded of this incident Abid Jan Taliban Shadow Deputy Governor was also present.
The National Directorate of Security’s (NDS) newsletter has also reported that senior commanders of the Taliban Red Company commanders including Shafiq, Khabid, Rahmani, Sefatullah, Muslim, Aimal, Mir Mohammad, and Nursultullah among the deads. In the operation, it is said that 20 gun and 5 mines have been seized by the security forces.
