While the Taliban once again deny the recognition of the government in the process of peace talks, the Afghan government is working to form a roadmap for peace talks with the group while holding a consultative Loya Jirga. Now the Ministry of Finance of the country has released a newsletter stating: “The cost of the Consultative Peace Jirga is 369 million Afns, which is supposed to be spent on the budget of the President’s budget Code 91”.

Meanwhile, Zia-ul-Haq Amarkhail, deputy head for the Peace Consultative Jirga commission, said that all preparations are being held for the meeting and it is scheduled to be held on April 9, 1398, for three days with the participation of 2,000 people from across the country in Kabul. In addition, the Provincial Consultative Peace Jirga has stated that government officials will not have any interference in the process, but they will be present at the meeting as guests.
