Husband and wife was shot down by unknown gunmen in Sar-e-Pul

Zabihullah Amani, the spokesman for the provincial governor of Sar-e-Pul, has confirmed the news that that 45-year-old John Afsa and 50-year-old Mohammad Din were shot down by gunmen in their homes in Gosfandi district of Sar-e-Pol. “The incident occurred two days ago in the village of Ozan Saghal, in the area of Gosfandi district, which is still unknown due to the murder.”
Police officials at Sar-e-Pul announced that no individual or group has been detained until now, but police investigations are ongoing. While the 209th Shahin Corps in the north of the country has announced by publication of a statement, the husband was shot by the Taliban group.
