In upcoming three days, NATO celebrates its 70th anniversary

NATO is scheduled to celebrate its 70th anniversary in upcoming three days. According to NATO, the anniversary of the creation this institutions this year the member states will have the largest ceremonies in their countries. NATO secretary general’s spokeswoman said: “NATO will celebrate its 70th anniversary in upcoming three days, so NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg is scheduled to host a ministerial meeting today.”
NATO was formed in 1949 with the participation of 12 European countries, and now it has 29 members. At the moment, NATO is supporting Resolute support Mission to fight insurgency and terrorism in Afghanistan.
