Increasing Taliban revenue from customs revenues

According to new reports, the Taliban have managed to increase their revenues in most provinces of the country, with the dominance of the highways and customs. Statistics show that over a year, the Afghan Taliban earned 22 billion Afghanis from customs clearance, collecting taxes and zakat in insecure provinces.
In addition, kidnappings, drug trafficking, bullying, illegal extraction of armed mines and armed robbery are also among the cases where the Taliban have been able to earn a good income.
