The women’s police presence in the country has increased by 64.4%, the Ministry of Women’s Affairs said.

The latest reports from the Ministry of Women’s Affairs say: Based on the target, the presence of women in the police structure has reached 64.4%, and the national army has increased from 259 in 2007 to 1689 in 2018,

The ministry adds: In the legal and human rights protection section of women, 20 legislative acts, including law, regulation and policy, have been arranged, 21% of the staff of the Attorney General’s Office and 23% of the Supreme Court staff are women.

Meanwhile, according to the Ministry of Women’s Affairs, women make up 8.6 percent of the Ministry of Justice staff.
