Interior Ministry: Security Forces launched anti-terrorism operation in Kabul

The brutal and inhumane act has sparked criticism from government officials and citizens after a blast Sunday night at a wedding hotel in western Kabul killed and injured four others. The Interior Ministry has now published a newsletter saying that the ministry has launched a series of security measures and anti-terrorist operations in Kabul and other provinces.
Interior Ministry spokesman Nusrat Rahimi says the National Security Forces, in collaboration with intelligence and intelligence forces throughout the city, are required to protect people on Independence Day security measures.
The ministry also said police officers have so far detained dozens of suspects from homes and towns.
Dozens of civilians were killed in a bomb blast inside a wedding ceremony in western Kabul.
