Kandahar provincial governor office has announced that at least 20 ISIS militants have been detained as a result of the National Directorate of Security Forces operations in the province. According to the newsletter, ISIS recruiting in charge for Kandahar province is also among the detainees. According to Kandahar governor’s press office, Newsletter: “20 ISIL militants have been arrested in Kandahar province with weapons, ammunition and amount of motorcycles from various parts of the Kandahar.”

Local officials have announced the arrest of ISIS recruiting in charge in Kandahar that, currently the group is attempting to expand their influence throughout Afghanistan, a case that has sparked outrage and concern among US officials.
