Kapisa Police: Taliban launched a group attack on Ela Sai market and it was set back

While Afghanistan will be witnessing tomorrow’s presidential election, in the latest case, Kapisa police officials said the Taliban were attempting to stage a raid on the market in the province’s El Say district, but the police were able to set back this attack. The officials have said that Taliban attack on the district of has retreated and there is no threat of the Taliban now. “The Taliban attacked the market in El Sai district this morning, which continued until after the lunch, during the responsive firing at least three Taliban insurgents were killed and four others were injured,” said Kapisa police spokesman Abdul Shaker Shoresh.
Mr. Shoresh also insists that one policeman was killed and three others were wounded in the clash, while security forces assured citizens of the country that any Taliban movements would be hindered by them during elections process.
