Kazakhstan will expand military cooperation with Afghanistan

The Ministry of National Defense (MOD) has released a newsletter that yesterday, at the headquarters of the Afghan National Defense Ministry, the acting head of the Defense Ministry hosted the Kazakh ambassador to Kabul, “Halim Khan Yassin Gildiyov”. The newsletter said that two sides will expand on bilateral cooperation in the military arena. The Ministry of Defense newsletter also states that the two sides have exchanged views on increasing cooperation in the training of security forces, especially Afghan pilots.
Meanwhile, the acting minister of defence Asadullah Khalid was assured by the Kazakh ambassador in Kabul that his country is committed for expanding military cooperation, in particular, the training of the Afghan security and defence forces and that they would not hesitate to make any effort in this regard.
