Key Taliban commander killed in Farah

Farah security officials have said a key Taliban commander was killed in a drone attack in the (Peshtrod) district.
Farouk Barakzai, spokesman for the Farah governorate, said on Tuesday (January 24): “Rumi was said to be one of the key Taliban commanders in Farah province. He was killed today as a result of an unmanned aerial vehicle strike in Pushtrood district.
The killing of the Taliban commander in the Pashtrud district has made the district still promising life. Residents of Pardud district after Mawlawi Tawakul were killed said: “We could not have been safe on the roads before because of Taliban rule in the district. Today, with the death of a key Taliban commander, we can easily The roads in this district are commuting so we can safely go to the market. ”
Poshtrood district is one of the most insecure districts of Farah and a clean-up operation is underway in Bakhtur.
