Khalilzad: we are preparing for a peace agreement with the Taliban, not troops withdrawal

As US and Taliban are getting prepared for the next round of peace talks which would took place in Qatar for the 7th time, Zalmay Khalilzad has highlighted to Taliban that US is looking for a peace full agreement with the group not troops withdrawal. Mr. Khalilzad has wrote in his twitter: “As we prepare for the next round of talks with the Taliban, important to remember we seek a comprehensive peace agreement, NOT a withdrawal agreement. As I’ve said on numerous occasions, nothing is agreed until everything is agreed.”
Once again Mr. Khalilzad has stressed to Taliban that until US is willing to end Afghanistan war by achieving a comprehensive deal. He has also wrote: “we are willing to reach to a comprehensive peace agreement which would be made up of four inter-connected parts: counter-terrorism assurances, troop withdrawal, intra-Afghan negotiations that lead to a political settlement; and a comprehensive & permanent ceasefire. This is a framework which the Taliban accept.”
Soon Taliban and US government will resume 7th round of peace talks in Qatar. Earlier Sohail Shaheen Taliban political office spokesman said that the 7th round of peace talks would begin without and outcomes and agreements on cease-fire.
