After breathtaking and comprehensive talks between Taliban and US delegation in Doha, now reportedly Zalmay Khalilzad, has written in his twitter that they have reached to an agreement with the Taliban. According to Khalilzad: “Peace requires agreement on four issues: counter-terrorism assurances, troop withdrawal, intra-Afghan dialogue, and a comprehensive ceasefire. In January talks, we “agreed in principle” on these four elements. We’re now “agreed in the draft” on the first two.”

Mr. Khalilzad also states that after a final agreement with the Taliban there would be Intra-Afghan peace talks. He has highlighted” “When the agreement in the draft about a withdrawal timeline and effective counterterrorism measures is finalized, the Taliban and other #Afghans, including the government, will begin intra-Afghan negotiations on a political settlement and comprehensive ceasefire.”

US state department special envoy to Afghan peace talks has also stated that he will discuss such achievements with Washington and other partners in peace talks. Khalilzad has said: “My next step is discussions in Washington and consultations with other partners. We will meet again soon, and there is no final agreement until everything is agreed.”

US Department of state special envoy to Afghan peace talks has also emphasized that soon Afghan government would be involved in and Intra-Afghan peace talks, that Earlier Afghan National Security advisor stated in UN Security Council that Taliban are not willing to enter peace talks, and daily they are killing Afghan security forces and civilians.
