Vice President Mike Pence, in a meeting with the National Space Council of the United States, said that by 2024, the United States would send astronauts back to Moonlight. “This time, there will be a women among the team of astronauts,” Mr. Pence said. July this year is equal to the fiftieth anniversary of the human descent into the moon.

This was while the American astronauts landed on Mars in 1972. Since then, no country has taken a serious step to re-send humans to Mars.
