The Interior Ministry said in a news release that two people were killed and four others were wounded in a roadside bomb blast on a Kandahar-Herat highway this morning.

Afghan Presidential Spokesman Sediq Sediqi posted on his Facebook page that all the victims of the event, including women and children, were civilians.

He claimed the Taliban had killed civilians by blowing up the mine.

On the other hand, Moheb Moheb, spokesman for the Farah Security Command, told Radio Azadi that the blast occurred this morning on Wednesday, Assad, in the water zone.

No one has claimed responsibility for the blast yet.
