Ministry of Education: More than 180,000 displaced children have been under-educated

The Ministry of Education has published a newsletter, which covers 1,600 displaced children during the current year (2019).
The children were trained in the provinces of Balkh, Badghis, Herat, Jawzjan, Kabul, Kandahar, Kunar, Kunduz, Nangarhar, Sarpul, Uruzgan, Zabul, Faryab, Samangan, Paktika, and Helmand, the news release said.
The newsletter adds that the education of these children was taught in 5,000 temporary classes by 5,000 teachers.
Meanwhile, in the past year, about 6,000 displaced and returning children in five districts of Afghanistan were covered by the ministry’s educational services.
