Ministry of Interior: Security and defense forces will provide media protection

The Ministry of Interior (MoI) has released a newsletter according to the Taliban treats that the Taliban’s recent warning to the media actually reflects the failure of the group on battlefields. The newsletter of the Interior Ministry has said: “Media and journalists have been briefed on a strict security situation and have always defended national interests and citizens. The Taliban have failed, in addition to defeat in battlefields in the warfare propaganda, despite having been using financial resources and extensive regional intelligence advertising capabilities.”
According to the Interior Ministry, the Taliban want to conceal their failures by publishing the announcement. The newsletter has stated: “The Afghan security and defense forces are grateful to the media and journalists for supporting and expressing the facts, and they are reassuring to all the reporters and the media that, in order to ensure their safety and security, they will not hesitate to provide security to the Afghanistan media outlets.” This announcement comes in a time that earlier Taliban announced in a press release a day ago that the continuation of propaganda against the group would cause the issue that after this media and journalists would be chosen as military targets by Taliban militants.
