Ministry of Telecommunications leadership efforts to keep telecommunications services active

Although the Taliban have warned telecommunications networks that they will target the telecommunications systems if they do not stop telecommunications services in most of the provinces, the leadership of the Ministry of Telecommunications and Information Technology in cooperation with the officials of the Afghanistan Telecommunication regulation Authorities and Telecommunications networks hold an urgent meeting to prevent the disorder of telecommunications activity.
Mohammed Fahim Hashemi, the country’s telecommunications and information technology minister, says that to keep telecommunications networks active in 34 provinces, the Ministry of Telecommunications leadership has earmarked telecommunications network officials and ATRA officials.
