Mogherini: protection of Afghanistan’s achievements in the peace process is Crucial

According to media reports, Federica Mogherini, European foreign policy in charge, arrived in Kabul on an unannounced trip this morning. She first met with Abdullah Abdullah, the Chief Executive of the National Unity Government. Ms. Mogherini once again emphasized that Afghanistan’s past achievements must be protected, with the EU and the international community, should not sacrifice their achievements and efforts during peace talks with the Taliban.
Meanwhile, the country’s chief executive has emphasized that the national unity government will not in allow any way to hurt the 18-years achievements of the Afghanistan to citizens and they will never allow anyone to victimize these accomplishments during peace talks with the Taliban. Mogherini travels to Kabul, at a time that earlier NATO Civilian Representative to Kabul a day ago stated in his twitter during an online conversation, that the 18-year-old’s attainments should be a red line in peace talks between the parties.
