Moheb: ISIL and Taliban will be eliminated in Kunar and Nuristan

Afghan National Security Advisor Hamdullah Moheb, on a trip to Kunar and Nuristan, announced that Kunar and Nuristan will soon be cleared from the presence of terrorist groups that includes Taliban and ISIL fighters. Mr Moheb said: “The government is determined to eliminate terrorists across Afghanistan, especially in the eastern part of the country, which includes Kunar and Nuristan. Be sure that ISIL and the Taliban will soon be destroyed in these beautiful provinces of the country, and peace will be provided to the people. ”
Meanwhile, the country’s deputy chief of security for interior ministry General Khushal Sadat has said: “Recently, the Taliban and ISIS have been largely suppressed in Nangarhar, but now they intend to build their secure nests in Kunar and Nuristan of Afghanistan. To all of us, we are sure that these groups will soon be suppressed and pursued by the Afghan security and defence forces until their last nest. ”
These statements come in a time that at least 30 ISIL militants have been killed and more than 15 save heavens of the group has been eliminated in the past few days as a result of air strikes and ground attacks by Afghan National Security Forces in eastern Afghanistan.
