Due to several floods, more than 100 people were died and wounded in Faryab, Badghis, and Herat provinces.

Local officials from Faryab, Badghis, and Herat say huge losses have been caused by the heavy rainfall and the flooding in the districts of Khawaja Sabz Posh, Dawlatabad, Qaisar, Pashton Kot and the center of my mana city. Local officials continue to emphasize that hundreds of acres of agricultural land have also been destroyed by the natural phenomenon in various parts of the country, and nearly ten thousand people have also been displaced from their homes.

These reports are being released, which last year Afghanistan was evidence of a drought, but this year, responsible agencies have announced that the country’s water deficit has increased by 60%, which has caused damages to residents in North and western provinces of the country. Meanwhile, the Taliban have released a newsletter saying that all aid agencies should help the flood victims and those affected by this natural event, helping these institutions in their areas.
