More than 50 people were killed and wounded in the suicide attack in Kabul this morning

According to a news release from the Interior Ministry, a suicide bomber detonated a Tunis type car at about 10:10 this morning among civilians. Interior Ministry spokesman Nusrat Rahimi said: ” around 10:10 am, a Tunis type car exploded in the area of Kabul police’s ninth security district in the area of Makkurian First Public Road near Chahar Abdul Haq.”
Mr. Rahimi added: “As a result of this terrorist attack, 10 civilians were martyred and 42 were injured. “Twelve civilians vehicles were also destroyed in the terrorist attack,” the Taliban have claimed responsibility for this attack and have, acknowledged that the attack was aimed at the convoy of foreign troops.
