Mullah Bradar arrived in Doha with Pakistani aircraft
Mullah Abdul Ghani Brother, deputy head of Taliban political office in Qatar, arrived in Doha with a special Pakistani plane. According to Reports, this Taliban official and former Taliban leader Mullah Omar deputy is scheduled to attend the fifth round of talks between the Taliban and the United States. It is said that the cease-fire, the emergence of an interim administration and the withdrawal of US forces from Afghanistan, would be the points where American and Taliban side are looking to reaches on an implicit agreement.
Although Taliban officials have not yet commented on the arrival of Mullah Bradar in Qatar, Zabiullah Mujahid wrote in a newsletter: “Tomorrow, on Tuesday 25 February, a meeting between the Taliban and the American delegation in Doha Will be held, the agenda of the meeting would be end of US troops presence in Afghanistan and assurance of the possible attacks from the territory of Afghanistan to other countries.”
Earlier there were reports that Mullah Bradar, deputy director of the Taliban political office, will not attend the fifth round of talks with the United State officials in Qatar. Some of the sources close to the Taliban revealed the reason for not participating of Mullah Bradar as having no travel documents and disagreements with his position at the meeting.
