The interior ministry said that Nabi Kouhbandi was killed by police after being arrested by the anti-terrorism forces of the organization. “Nabi Kouhbandi, head of a criminal organized group, died in a clash with the anti-terrorism police forces, in the first wounded Kabul and the last moments,” a spokesman for the Ministry of Internal Affairs Nusrat Rahimi told the media. “Nabi Kouhbandi was a dangerous and fugitive criminal and he was running an organized criminal group he and his man were a part of the organized crimes in the areas of Kabul.”

The Interior Ministry Spokesman has also said: “This criminal fought MOI anti-terrorism forces, in the area of ​​the Ninth Security Division in Kabul, first he was detonated by police forces this afternoon and got wounded by the police, but after being injured bleeding he was killed. Kouhbandi was responsible for a mass-scale organized crime network in Kabul and was involved in cases of murder, robbery, banditry.” The Ministry of Interior had previously stated that this criminal was arrested after being wounded by the police.
