At least 6 people were killed and 30 others were wounded in a terrorist attack in Helmand. And in Kandahar, unidentified gunmen targeted Obaidullah Barakzai, an Afghan lawmaker in PD 6, and he was shot dead after the attack.
Now Afghan National Security Advisor Hamidullah Moheb has ordered all security forces in Helmand and Kandahar to examine these two events and prepare for the earliest possible response. Although the Taliban took responsibility for the attack on Helmand, the perpetrators of the assassination of Obaidullah Barakzai have not yet been identified, the Kandahar police are reporting on this matter.
