National Security Advisor visits Iran

The National Security Council has released a newsletter that the National Security Adviser is leaving for Iran to attend a regional security summit. “The meeting will be attended by national security advisers from Afghanistan, Iran, India, China, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Russia,” the statement said. “The meeting will focus on regional security and regional security co-operation.”
The newsletter also added, “The National Security Advisor is scheduled to address the meeting and meet with other National Security Advisors and to have dual meetings.” It is the second regional security summit that is hosted by Iran. Last year also this meeting was held in October as well.
