“Senior NATO civilian representative in Afghanistan has stated that the institution has not decided to withdraw their troops from Afghanistan,” Nikolas Kay also added: “until now no decision has been taken on NATO forces withdrawal. In this regard, we have a very clear position that NATO has come to Afghanistan jointly with the US, and ultimately we will decide on our presence or withdrawal as well jointly. ”

The statement comes as the US Secretary of Defense has previously stated that the withdrawal of US troops after the peace will be realized in Afghanistan. These statements are said while the Taliban have increased their fighting with the country’s security forces at the same time as the peace talks with the United States, an issue that, according to the people Taliban, do not want peace, with the United States. This is while the Taliban group has previously said they are never ready to sit directly with the Afghan government.
