North and South Korea are planning a joint field inspection of North Korean roads with the aim of the linking of two Koreas. Seoul’s Unification Ministry told media that dozens of officials and engineers will visit the North for four days beginning Friday to check the conditions of the roads along the North’s western and eastern railways.

On the other side, they will jointly inspect a 100 kilometer along the section on the eastern and four kilometers in the western. Meanwhile, after wrapping up the inspection on the eastern line, the two countries will decide on the crossing of the railways.
