One suspect was arrested in charges of drug trafficking at Kabul airport

Afghan Interior Ministry officials have announced the arrest of a trafficker during the transfer of more than three kilograms of narcotics from Hamid Karzai International Airport. The Interior Ministry’s border police at Hamid Karzai International Airport has stated that they were able to arrest a suspect when they wanted to transport three and a half KG of narcotics to India, the Ministry of Interior (MoI) said in a news release.
During the past week, officials from the Counter-Narcotics Police discovered and seized 7,631 kilograms of heroin-type drugs that were placed inside the decorated tables at Hamid Karzai International Airport.
