Over 100 Taliban fighters were killed by air strikes in various parts of the country

Ministry of Defense security officials have issued a newsletter announcing the deaths of more than 100 Taliban militants because of launching air and ground operations of Afghan security forces in 13 provinces. According to the Ministry of Defense newsletter, security and defense forces have launched at least 17 joint offensive operations and 29 air strikes in 13 provinces in the past 24 hours.
“These air and ground operations are aimed for removing enemy nests and addressing security threats in the provinces of Uruzgan, Balkh, Helmand, Logar, Kapisa, Baghlan, Laghman, Ghazni, Daikundi, Herat, Paktika and Paktia,” the newsletter adds. These operations were the most important operations launched by ANDSF and as a result of these operations, 109 terrorists were killed, 45 were injured and 5 were arrested.”
