Local sources of Kapisa report the fall of the three valleys of the province. The sources say at least three Kapisa valleys fell into the hands of Taliban last night including Pachaghan, Ghain and Afghania valleys of Kapisa provinces. The group is said to have launched heavy attacks on these three Valleys from three days.
Meanwhile, some local sources insist that the three valleys fell to the local Taliban hand and no Talib insurgents from other provinces were involved in this operation. Sources emphasize that, with all the efforts of the economy directorate and other local institutions of Kapisa, the Taliban militants did not commit to their promises, and after several days of intense resistance, last night security forces were forced to withdraw from their checkpoints.
