Pakistani senior security officials are out to alert the security forces of the country to defend any attack.

Following an Indian air attack on Pakistan’s soil, Islamabad has convened an advisory meeting at the State Department. At the meeting, former foreign ministers and senior diplomats from Pakistan were present at the meeting to discuss the attack on Indian fighter jets.

Pakistan’s foreign minister, King Mahmoud Qureshi, says this hostile Indian action is endangering regional peace. He continues to emphasize that our security forces and our citizens can defend their country. We have the responsibility to vigilantly and patiently protect the Pakistani people.

While India’s planes launched attacks on Pakistan’s harbor Tuesday, Indian officials said an “air strike against terrorists” was taking place.
