Pakistani media quotes: The Islamabad government has released nearly 100 Indian prisoners today and is scheduled to be delivered to their country.
Pakistani officials have said: The country plans to release 260 other Indian fishermen who have violated the watercourse and entered Pakistani waters this month.
Though tensions began between Islamabad and New Delhi, India began accusing Pakistan of carrying out a suicide attack on its territory, killing nearly 50 people and wounding others in the bombing. India carried out its air strikes on Pakistani soil targeting terrorist nests in Kashmir, Pakistan’s sub-province.
The Pakistani Air Force subsequently toppled two Indian fighter jets and captured one pilot in response to a violation of its airspace; while New Delhi simultaneously claimed that the Indian Air Force had overthrown a Pakistani F-16 fighter plane.
