The National Security Council has published a newsletter that the Afghan National Security Advisor has met with the German Special Envoy for Afghanistan. According to National Security Council newsletter: “Dr. Hamdullah Moheb, National Security Advisor of the country met with Mr. Marks Putzel, Special Representative of German for Afghanistan, yesterday afternoon. The two sides discussed the peace process and the current security situation in Afghanistan. ”

The National Security Advisor also said: “The National Security Advisor has praised the efforts and achievements of the country’s security and defense forces in the fight against terrorism and emphasized that the need for greater pressure on Taliban group has increased. The visit is taking place in a time that in over past months Germany has expanded its peace-building effort in Afghanistan, and the country is trying to provide a special place for itself in the Afghan peace process.
