After the tensions between Ata Mohammad Noor, the chief executive of the Jamyat Islami party and the Presidential Palace, on the appointment of new commander in Balkh now it’s said that Mr. Noor has prevented the appointment of the new head of public health in Balkh. Sources in Balkh say that Khalilullah Hekmati has been appointed as the new head of public health in the latest case, but he has not gone to his office since a week.
Sources also add that Dr. Khalilullah Hekmati was appointed as the new head of public health in Balkh trough free competition exam, but Mr. Noor’s obstruction prevented him from going to the Public Health Department. Nonetheless, Atta Mohammad Noor emphasizes on the continuation of Mirwais Rabi’s work, the former head of public health in Balkh. It is said that one of Mr. Noor’s suggestions to presidential was that Doctor Rabi should continue his work as the head of public health in Balkh.
Mirwais Rabi is a close member of Atta Mohammad Noor party, and at least for more than ten years he serves as the head of public health in Balkh province.
