Presence of Iranian fighters in the ranks of ISIL in eastern Afghanistan
Some sources in eastern Afghanistan have stated that in the most recent case, their information shows that at least eight Iranian militants entered the ISIL ranks in eastern Afghanistan. These sources say that they are currently in Kunar and are engaging in terrorist training. The source continues to emphasize that it’s still unclear where the fighters have come from where and how they arrived in eastern Afghanistan.
These reports are being presented at the current stage by militants from different countries within the ISIS group in Afghanistan. Reports indicate that most of ISIS’s foreign fighters are currently from China, Central Asia countries and Pakistan.
