A week ago, the Taliban officials met with some of the political figures in the Qatari capital of Doha which was conducted by the efforts of Qatar and Germany. Now the participation of Political party’s representatives in this meeting has been criticized by the Senate Speaker at the general meeting of these institutions. According to the report, Fazl Hadi Muslimyar, head of the Senate, has said: “Participation of parties’ representatives in Intra-Afghan peace between the parties and the Taliban will not help the peace process, and the Taliban must negotiate with the government. Without the presence of representatives of the government, the departure of political party’s representatives to Qatar does not contribute to any peace solutions.”
At the same time, the reaction comes by the Speaker of the House of Representatives that currently it is scheduled the next round of Intra-Afghan peace talks would be held in upcoming one month. And some of the political figures and Taliban will once again hold a face to face talks. Meanwhile, the ambassador to Germany at a meeting with the Afghan National Security Advisor has said his country will use all efforts to bring the Taliban to peace because the end of violence in Afghanistan is so important for Germany.
