President Advisor: president Ghani’s trip to Pakistan is for normalization of relationship between states

On Thursday morning president Ghani leads a high ranking government delegation to Pakistan on the official invitation of Imran Khan, Pakistan prime minister. Now Fazel Fazly, the senior advisor of a president has stated that this trip is made for normalizing relations between two states, according to Mr. Fazly: “Based on a strong mandate from Loya Jirga, President Ghani is in Pakistan to pursue normalization of relations between the two states. President’s forward-looking vision ensures stability not only in but also offers an opportunity to address its struggling economy.”
This statement comes in a time that earlier today Rahmatullah Nabil former National Directorate of Security head and presidential candidate criticize president Ghani’s trip to Pakistan. He also states that this trip is made by the president to maintain Pakistan interest and also to be in power.
