President Ghani met Pakistan’s prime minister

Mohammad Ashraf Ghani, the country’s president in Saudi Arabia, met with Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan on the sidelines of the summit of the OSCE Summit in Mecca.
According to foreign media, the two sides discussed bilateral relations, regional ties, trade, peace, security and the fight against terrorist attacks. Both sides have emphasized that during the upcoming visit of the envoy to Ghani Pakistan will carry out more detailed discussions on these issues.
Mr. Ghani has discussed the problem of preventing the transfer of Afghan airspace from Pakistani space to India with Imran Khan, and Mr. Khan also said that he will address the issue.
This is while the Pakistani government has banned the transit of Afghanistan’s transit aircraft to India after tension with India has intensified.
