Presidential Palace: The Taliban have no respect for peace

A spokesman for the Afghan president, Sediq Siddiqi, said at a news conference that the Taliban’s recent attack in Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan, proved that the group did not pay any attention to the peace process. Mr. Siddiqi added that the Afghan government will continue peace efforts in accordance with the will of millions of citizens of this country. It must be noted that the Taliban group accepted responsibility of the attack, the Taliban claimed that the purpose of the attack was the Defense ministry engineering institution.
It is said that at least 84 people were wounded in the attack. Meanwhile, the Ministry of Interior said three people were killed in the incident. But event witnesses say more than a dozen have died in the attack.
