Security officials in Paktia province said they have taken special programs in the province to prevent criminal offenses.

The provincial command spokesman Sardarwali Tabasom told the media that the plans were based on the decision of the Paktia Military Council. Mr. Tabasom adds: “Recently, some terrorist and criminal offenses have been committed by using motorcycles. Therefore, the military council’s decision to commute with motorcycles in this province has been completely banned after that.

Meanwhile, residents of Paktia province have complained for a long time that kidnappings, murder, armed attacks, robbery, and other criminal offenses have increased in Gardez, the capital of this province.
