Recapture of eight villages in Farah province from the Taliban

Eight villages in the outskirts of the Farah city were successfully cleared during ground operations by security forces in Farah province. Mohebullah Moheb, spokesman for the Farah Police Command, told media that Operation Zafar 42 was launched by afghan forces and during this operation they were able to clear the villages of Chahar Borjak, Georgians, Qala-e-Zaman, Daig frosh, Raigi, Dehak Khord, Shore Aab and Qala-e-Ghulam Sadiq.
According to security officials in Farah, the Taliban group has suffered heavy casualties as a result of the military operation and the amount of arms the group has been seized by security forces is also suspected of being openly involved with the Taliban.
