Afghanistan’s Ministry of Energy, Water and Power says that the Kandahar Dehla Dam is being reconstructed and rebuilt. Engineer Khan Muhammad Takkel, Deputy Minister of Energy, Water and power, told media: This Dam will be able to supply the water needed for agriculture, drinking and energy purposes to the residents of Kandahar province, and will bring changes to the life of the residents of Kandahar province.

The Deputy Ministry of Energy, Water and Power has also emphasized that the construction and rehabilitation of this Dam will be carried out by the Ministry of Energy water and power, in corporation with the Asian Development Bank.
