Release of two ladies by the National Directorate of Security after investigating them in Helmand

The National Directorate of Security (NDS) has released a newsletter that two women detained by the National Security Forces in Helmand, who were detained by the female clerical staff of the agency, were released on the orders of president Ghani after the investigations were taking place from them. The newsletter adds that these women were detained during a targeted operation on al-Qaeda’s network in Helmand and these women were arrest by the National Security Forces for further investigation an issue which has been raised critics on this regard.
Meanwhile, the National Directorate of Security (NDS) has announced that these women were returned to their families after being investigated according to Islamic and Afghan principles. In addition, the institution has urged politicians to carry out their investigation and then issue newsletters in advance of excessive noise.
