Releasing of a 12 years old teenager from the Taliban’s custody in Faryab

The Bilcheragh district of Faryab, which was a witness of recapturing by Afghan forces a few days before, now it was evident of a special operation of the Afghan Army Special Forces. According to the 209 Shaheen Army Corps Newsletter, Afghan forces were able to release a 12 years old teenager from Taliban custody. “The operation was launched last night in the village of Qourchi in the district of Bilcheragh of Faryab, during which the 12-year-old kid was imprisoned at the Taliban’s base,” Hanif Rezayee, a spokesman for the Shaheen 209 corps, said: “Security forces have also been able to arrest a Taliban member during this operation, and also these forces were able to seize a Taliban base, a Humvee vehicle and also amount of equipment and ammunition was seized by Afghan forces”.
The 209-year-old Shaheen Corps says the 12-year-old has been relieved from Taliban imprison while the group was willing to use him in suicide attacks until the Taliban have yet to comment on the incident.
