Reporters become news while covering terrorist attack
Around 8 am a suicide bomber carrying motorbike full of explosive materials targeted check post of National Directorate of security in Shash Darak area of Kabul. According to reports, several civilians were killed and few other got injured during the incident, a few minutes later other terrorists explode himself among journalists who were covering the incident. According to reports at least 9 reporters were killed and four others got injured.
Najib Danish, spokesman of interior ministry says: “at this twin attacks in Kabul most of the victims are civilians, according to our reports at least 21 people were killed and 27 others got injured during this terrorist attacks.” In this incident Shah Maray Faizi, photojournalist of Associated Press, Yaar Mohammad Tokhi cameraman of Tolo news, Ghazi Rasooli, Reporter, Nawroz Ali Khamosh cameraman of one TV, Abdullah Hananzai, Sabawon Kakar, and Madam Mahram Durani Journalists of Azadi Radio, Saleem Talash Reporter and Ali Salimi cameraman of Mashal TV were martyred.
In this deadly event, Omar Sobhani Reuter’s photographer, Ahmed Shah Azimi journalist and photographer of Neda-e-Agah, Daud Qaisani and Nasser Hashemi Al Jazeera journalist got wounded.
