Russian Federal Ambassador met Karim Khalili

Russia’s Federal Ambassador met with Karim Khalil, chairman of the High Peace Council. During the meeting, the two sides discussed important political issues, including peace developments in Afghanistan and regional affairs.
Ambassador Alexander Montitsky expressed hope for achievements in peace in Afghanistan and said: “I hope that these efforts will lead to a dialogue between Afghans and the achievement of lasting peace in Afghanistan.”
The Russian ambassador also stated that his country is cooperating with the government and the people of Afghanistan in order to bring peace to Afghanistan and will not hesitate to do any work in this direction.
Mohammad Karim Khalili, head of the High Peace Council, said: “We regard peace as a serious priority of Afghanistan, countries of the region and the world.”
The head of the High Peace Council expressed his hope that we will see lasting peace and stability in Afghanistan, with the positive peace-building spirit that has come about in Afghanistan, the region and the world.
Mr. Khalili also referred to the goodness of the Moscow-Doha summit to provide peace-building in Afghanistan, and he assessed it in the direction of achieving lasting stability in the country.
