Sarabi: We have not been officially invited to participate in the Qatar Summit

At least three weeks has been left for holding an intra-Afghan dialogue between the Taliban and Political figures of Afghanistan this would be Scientific Advisory meeting which is scheduled to be Doha of Qatar, where Taliban has their political office. A case where has created concerns, but now Habiba Sarabi Deputy head of Afghanistan High Peace Council claimed that although the Council’s willingness to participate in the meeting of the Consultative Peace in diameter, she expressed apprehension that so far the High Peace Council is not officially invited in this summit.
She added: “The meeting, which is scheduled to be held in Qatar, possibly the high peace council officials would also participate but up to now we haven’t received any invitation letter from Taliban side. Although no official call for attendance at the meeting has been sent to us by the Taliban so far, but of the Secretariat of the High Peace Council and the top management has discussed the issue of participating in this meeting has been discussed, we expect that soon we will be invited by the Taliban site as well.”
The Taliban has stated that the meeting is not being managed by any individuals or groups, but led by Afghan citizens, and the aim of the meeting is to reach a common solution to end the differences.
