With the launch of air operations in Ghormach district of Faryab province, the country’s military killed nine Taliban militants. Mohammad Hanif Rezai, the spokesman for the 209th Shaheen Corps, told Kareem Press that the air force launched a special air operation at 11 am last night in Isahakzai village, Ghormach district of Faryab province, which killed nine Taliban militants as a result of the operation.

Mr. Reza’i added that during the operation, several Taliban terrorist groups were stabbed by air strikes.

He said there was no harm to the security forces and civilians at the incident.

Faryab is located in the north of the country and is one of Afghanistan’s most insecure provinces, with the Taliban being active in most of its districts, especially in Ghormach district of the province.
